In what is a rematch of one of the most exciting playoff series of last year, the Ducks will host the Kings on Wednesday night at the Honda Center. Los Angeles went 3-1 at the Honda Center in the series last year en route to sending the Ducks home empty-handed after setting franchise records for wins and points in a season. We are going to back the Kings on the road as they drop the Ducks in this rematch of last year’s playoff series.

The Bulls are unsure of Derrick Rose’s status going into tonight’s game at home with the Pistons, which is nothing new for them. Detroit has won just two games to begin the new season and is 0-2 on the road. Both teams have glaring issues early in the season, but the Bulls are really struggling with rebounding. Detroit is averaging only 92 points per game on offense. We like the host Bulls to win this Central Division battle.

The New York Jets are mired in a miserable season, losing their last eight games after winning the season opener. Pittsburgh is in the middle of a tight AFC North division race at 6-3. When you put all of this together, you get a recipe for a blowout on Sunday. Pittsburgh visits New York at MetLife Stadium today in what should be an easy win for the Steelers. Big Ben has been red-hot of late, which is why we like the Steelers to move back into sole possession of first-place today.

It is Thursday, which means that another NFL game is scheduled for a national broadcast. Will it follow the rest of the Thursday games and be a complete blowout? Or, will this contest actually be fun to watch? Cincinnati and Cleveland will play in this game and they come from the tightest division race in the league; the AFC North. Cincinnati is in first place while Cleveland is in third. The top three teams are separated by just percentage points. We like the Bengals at home in this contest.

Houston has jumped out to a 3-0 start to the season while Philadelphia has the exact opposite record at 0-3. Even though Philly head coach Brett Brown said this team will not tank the season, the Sixers do not have enough talent on the roster to even make an effort at not tanking. So, they might not do it on purpose, but they sure will struggle this year. On the other side of the court, the Rockets are ready for another run at the Western Conference title. We like the Rockets in this contest.

One of the most anticipated games of the season will finally be played this weekend when the Broncos take on the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Two of the best quarterbacks in the history of the league will face-off as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady meet for the 16th time. Brady is 10-5 against Manning, including the playoffs, but Denver beat New England in the AFC title game last year. We like Denver on the road this weekend.

When you are without your starting quarterback and your second stringer has struggled, you know your season has not gone well. This has been the case for the Redskins, who are 2-5. They take on the Cowboys tonight in Texas for an NFC East battle. Dallas has enjoyed much more success, opening the year with a 6-1 mark. These teams are headed in completely opposite directions, which is why we like the Cowboys to win this game.

Two struggling teams will meet in an NHL contest on Friday night when the Oilers host the Hurricanes at the Rexall Place in Edmonton. Carolina has yet to win a game this season while Edmonton has just two wins to begin the new season. The Hurricanes have one of the worst offenses in the league, which is why we like the Oilers to win this game at home and keep Carolina winless on Friday night in Canada.
