Stanley Cup Playoffs: NHL Conference Finals Betting Odds

Feeling a little jilted, after the Cardinals bullpen turned into a gas can on Thursday night, we head back to the National Hockey League as we preview what will be a pair of thrilling Stanley Cup Conference Final series.

Chicago hosting Los Angeles at the United Center gets the West Final going at 5:00 PM ET. Then, Boston and Pittsburgh open the East Final at the CONSOL Energy Center at 8:00 PM ET on Saturday, June 1, 2013.

NHL Western Conference Final: Blackhawks vs. Kings Call

Chicago and Los Angeles, who both needed seven games to win their semifinal postseason series, get right back into the fire as they open their Western Conference Final match-up in the Windy City today. There’s not much separating these two clubs and we see goaltending being the difference in this series. As it is in the West, there’s not a lot separating Pittsburgh and Boston as they are ready to clash in the NHL Eastern Conference Final. It seems like a fortnight since these two teams last hit the ice as the Penguins have been idle since May 24, and Boston hasn’t hit the frozen ponds since May 25. Both teams enjoyed a relatively easy path to the East Final in semifinal play as Pittsburgh bashed the Senators and Boston rubbed out the Rangers – with both series lasting just five games.
