Texans vs. Ravens: AFC Divisional Playoff Preview

Much like our thoughts on the Patriots vs. Broncos contest on Saturday, the home team has a decided advantage in this game. Baltimore hasn’t lost a home game since the Steelers beat them 13-10 back in Week 13 last season. The Ravens had quality home wins against the 49ers, Steelers, Bengals, and the Texans (29-14 Week 6) during the 2011 NFL season

There are a couple of key differences between that Week 6 contest and this one. Matt Schaub was at quarterback for the Texans, while Houston star WR Andre Johnson missed the game. QB T.J. Yates gets the start and will have Johnson to throw to. That’s not a good trade off for the Texans.

Baltimore held stud RB Arian Foster to just 49 rushing yards and no scores in that contest. Foster will need a big game to take some pressure off the rookie Yates who looked awful in the win against the Bengals last weekend. Huge edge Ravens!
