The NFL Week 7 schedule has some tantalizing matchups, and though this one doesn’t appear to be one of them, Buffalo could possibly surprise coming off their bye week.
The Bills travel to Baltimore to challenge the Ravens who are enjoying a top-five AFC Conference standing and need to gain steam heading into their bye.
In Week 5 the Bills lost at home 36-26 to Jacksonville, taking many positives from the game, but with no wins on the season and a schedule that doesn’t get any easier things are looking grim in the locker room.
The Ravens want to overcome a 23-20 overtime loss to New England last week, especially heading into their bye in Week 8. At 5-2, they’ll be competing for first place in the conference and feeling good about the playoff picture.
2010 Ravens Offense
QB Joe Flacco threw for a season-high 285 yards and two touchdowns last week, and he’ll be heavily relied on to push the Ravens forward again. Baltimore on paper isn’t near the strongest offense in the league (highest rank is 15th in rushing yards), but their form appears intact, and with some momentum they could become hard to beat.
2010 Bills Defense
Coach Chan Gailey announced the Bills have switched from a 3-4 scheme to a 4-3. Their rush-defense is the worst in the NFL (182.4 yards per game), and this could be thep roblem-solver. Buffalo has allowed 30 or more points against in four straight games – the worst stretch the franchise has ever seen.
