NFL Week 6 Seahawks vs Bears Game Review
The Seattle Seahawks travelled to Chicago to better their 2-2 record and improve their results on the road as they battled the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday in Week 6 of NFL action.
It is always an adventure when the Seahawks travel from the far west to the far east across two North American time zones. Odds at the Sportsbook.com online sportsbook had the Bears as -6.5 point home favorites with the game total at 37.5 points.
Bodog.com also had the Bears down as favorites at -290 and the Seahawks as road underdogs at +245 against the moneyline.

After exchanging touchdowns in the first quarter, Seattle RB Justin Forsett converted a nine-yard run to the end zone late in the half and the Seahawks never looked back.
Bears QB Jay Cutler got tossed around yet again after missing last week’s game to concussions and was sacked six times. The Seahawks couldn’t wait to get at him, and they proved it.
Cutler managed to complete just 17 of 39 passes for 290 yards. The Bears went 0-12 on third downs, and totalled only 61 rushing yards on the day.
Cutler’s counterpart Mass Hasselbeck had a season-high 242 yards and a touchdown, completing 25 of 40 passes. His performance was complemented by receivers Mike Williams and Deon Butler, who scored a touchdown each.
All units showed up for Seattle in a much-needed road win against the team that was tied for the league’s top record (4-1).

Seahawks Game Ball: WR Mike Wiliams. With a solid performance (10 REC, 123 YDS), Williams proved himself a reliable asset to the offense and helped Hasselbeck earn his season-high in passing yardage.
The Seahawks can breathe easier with a road win and a record of 3-2. They are tied for top spot in the NFC West with Arizona, who they’ll host at Qwest Field next week.
Bears Game Ball: WR Johnny Knox. Knox did all he could do to help the Bears overcome the Seahawks as they were expected to. He finished the day with 5 receptions for 120 yards.
Chicago (4-2) remains first place in the NFC North and will stay at home to host the Washington Redskins in Week 8 NFL 2010 action.
