NFL 2011 – American Football Conference: East Division Preview
With the countdown to the 2011 NFL regular season started, today we preview the NFL 2011 AFC East Division. Even though there are plenty of new faces, in new places, the Patriots are still the team to beat!
New York Head Coach Rex Ryan is telling everyone who will listen that the Jets will be a better team this season- we just don’t see that happening. Miami and Buffalo figure to be in a “battle” for third and fourth in the AFC East
New England Patriots Rule The AFC East Roost
Year in and year out, the New England Patriots reload – rather than rebuild. This organization develops through the draft and from within. That’s the main the reason why the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills, will all be looking up at QB Tom Brady and the Pats come seasons end.
Youth over experience is the modus operandi in New York as they lost several key, yet underrated, veterans. No matter what Ryan says, the Jets are long on youth and have slipped in talent.
Miami lost RB Ronnie Brown (PHI), plus RB Ricky Williams (BAL), and they continue to pick up the New Orleans Saints baggage with the addition of RB Reggie Bush. We can’t see that working out very good in the Sunshine State.
It should be “same old, same old” in Orchard Park as the Bills continue on their, more than a decade old, rebuilding scheme – it’s not working. Buffalo should shuffle off to Los Angeles to revive this dead franchise.
