The Week 6 2010 NFL schedule brings us two underachieving teams as the Cowboys visit the Vikings in an NFC showdown.

Minnesota has gotten enimic play from the offence but the defense has kept them in games early in the season.

The Vikings defense has given up 16.8 points per game (7th), yielded 289.2 total yards per game (5th), while ranking 6th in pass defense (185), and 14th in run defense (101.2).

2010 Cowboys Offense

Over in Dallas it has been a whole other story as the Cowboys offense can move the ball but the defense hasn’t been able to shut anyone down.

The Cowbyos rank 16th in points scored (20.2) and 2nd in total yards (421.2). The Dallas offense sits 3rd in pass yards (326.2) but a lowly 24rh in rush yards (95.2).

Cowboys vs Vikings Betting Odds & Game Prediction

The current betting odds posted at Sportsbook.com have the Vikings as a -1.5 home favorite with the game total set at 43.5 points.

Over at SportsInteraction.com the Vikings are a -265 favorite while the Raiders are -215 underdogs against the money line.

Game Prediction: There’s no way to sugar coat it. Both these teams suck as we reach Week 6 of the NFL 2010 schedule. The question is; who will suck more this Sunday?

WR Randy Moss has become the X factor for the Vikings. He will draw coverage away from the line, open running room for Adrian Peterson and give old man Favre a little extra time in the pocket.

That being said; the difference will be the better defense and home field advantage.

Final score: 23-20 Vikings as they cover the spread and the game total barely stays UNDER.
