This is a definitely a tale of two cities. These two teams both made the playoffs during the 2009 NFL season but have taken different roads this season.

New York has won 3 straight games ~ 3-2 at home.

Jets: 6-4 ATS ~ 8-2 SU ~ 8 of last 10 OVER
Game Preview – Bengals vs. Jets – Predictions
As mentioned these two teams have had drastically different seasons. The Jets are rolling towards a second straight playoff appearance while the Bengals have returned to being the Bungals.
New York has not made it easy on themselves as they have won four of their last five games by a total of just 13 points. All of those wins have come very late in regulation with two games needing overtime. Still, they are 8-2 and half game back of the Patriots (9-2) who already won today.
Cincinnati has lost seven straight games including a Week 11 beat down 49-31 to the Buffalo Bills (2-8). The Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco experiment has gone reasonably well but the Bengals have been abandoned by their defense which ranks 26th in points allowed.
Game Forecast & Prediction: With the Jets averaging a 3.5 point win margin in their last four we don’t like the monster double digit line at all. The Bengals have play makers who give them the ability to keep games close. Apart from Week 1 against the Pats and last week against the Bills, Cincinnati hasn’t lost a game by more than eight points with five loses being by six points or less.
We will take the Jets on the money line, the Bengals with the spread odds and we like the OVER here.
