Free Picks – Eagles vs. Cowboys – Game Preview

Dallas comes into this game with a confirmed head coach as the Cowboys have removed the interim tag from Jason Garrett. You can be sure the Cowboys want to lay a whipping on their division rivals and then head to the beach.

The Eagles are  looked into the number three spot in the NFC playoff chase and they will be starting QB Kevin Kolb. You really shouldn’t expect to see much of the Philadelphia starting offense in this one. The playoffs are way more important than beating a team heading to the sidelines.

We’ll saddle up and ride with Cowboys as they win one for their “new” Head Coach despite the fact that QB Stephen McGee will be under center for Dallas.

Game Preview – Broncos vs. Chargers – Free Picks

What the schedule makers thought could be a battle for the AFC West Division title has turned into a battle for pride between two teams that don’t like each other. The Chargers and Denver are both playing their last game of the season, a situation that is particularly surprising when it comes to the Bolts.

We have bashed San Diego head coach Norv Turner in the past and the Bolts 2010 season just backs up our point. The Chargers sit second in total offense, third in passing ofense while they are first in total defense, and passing defense as well as second in rushing defense. Their downfall was – believing that they owned the AFC West and a lack of preparation to go along with way too many in-game mental mistakes. That goes directly back to the coaching staff and ultimately to the head coach. Yet Turners’ job is said to safe. Go figure?

Denver was a mess from the start of the season and just kept getting worse.  The Broncos are starting the proclaimed “next one” in QB Tim Tebow but we need to see a little more before we are ready to “crown him”. Tebow looked great last week but he was facing the Texans who could possibly have the worst pass defense in the entire history of the NFL.

We tossed this one around for a while and we believe that pride and more talent wins this game. The Chargers have more talent and they are in need of a boast in pride more so than the Broncos who defeated the Texans 24-23 during Week 16 NFL action.
