The Broncos are in the playoffs for the first time in six years. Their last playoff win was 27-13 victory against the Patriots in the 2005 Divisional Playoffs. Denver lost 34-17 to the Steelers in the AFC Championship the following weekend.

In that contest the Broncos started fast with a 16-7 second quarter lead but the Patriots scored 23 unanswered points, and capitalized on three Denver fumbles, to complete the blowout. A similar result could be the order of the day in this one as well.

Whether the Patriots are going to win is not the question here. If we owned a farm we would bet it straight up on Brady, Welker, Gronkowski & Co. The monster spread, the Broncos not wanting to be embarrassed on global TV, and the Patriots pulling starters late in the game, are all valid concerns.
