The Week 4 2010 NFL schedule features nine inter-divisional games in this year’s version of “Rivalry Weekend.” The Steelers and Ravens meet at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh PA as they renew hostilities in this fierce division rivalry.
2010 Ravens Defense
For their part, the Ravens defense has been almost as stingy as the Steelers in allowing just 41 points through their first three games of the 2010 NFL season.
Baltimore sits at 2-1 and will be looking to get on a roll after they finally kicked their offense into gear with a 24-17 win in Week 4 over the Browns.
2010 Steelers Defense
The Steelers defense has taken it upon themselves’ to hold the fort while they wait for the offense to catch up once suspended quarterback
Ben Roethlisberger returns. Big Ben will make is first start after Pittsburgh’s Week 5 bye – during Week 6 on the 2010 NFL schedule.
Through three games the vaunted Pittsburgh defense has allowed a league low 33 points. Its like the “Steel Curtain” has been brought out of storage and draped over the team as a four week protector.
Game Analysis: The Ravens looked past the Browns last weekend and came up flat on defense. Ray Lewis and company will be bringing it in this one and we wonder how long QB Charlie Batch will be able to stand up to the pressure.
Our best guess is not long and the Ravens, with more weapons on offense, will leave Heinz Field with a 17-10 win.
