New Bovada Online Sportsbook Launches for US Players

Early this morning, we received word that a new sportsbook brand would be accepting US players, servicing all of their sports betting, casino, poker and horse betting needs.

Is Bodog Bovada?

The quick answer to the question we’ve heard “Is Bodog Bovada?” is that NO, it is not. Technically, the Bodog.eu brand, which formerly rose to greatness in 2006 under the Bodog.com url, will no longer be operating in the US.

So while the brand’s sister franchises will continue to operate under various licensees in Canada (Bodog.ca) and the UK (Bodog.co.uk) the Bodog.eu brand will no longer be available to US players come January 1st 2012.

Instead, the group that has owned the license to operate the Bodog brand in the US (Morris Mohawk Gaming Group) until January 1st, 2012, will now be launching and running the Bovada brand for US players.
