Aggies vs. Wildcats: Meineke Car Care Bowl

Kickoff for the Northwestern Wildcats facing the Texas A&M Aggies is scheduled for Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 12:00 PM ET from Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Texas A&M (6-6 OA 4-5 Big 12) was 11th in scoring with 39.6 PPG while they were 76th in points allowed at 28.7 PPG. The Aggies went 1-6 against AP Top 25 teams. Their win came back in Week 6 at home against Baylor as they laid a 44-28 whopping on the Bears.

Yellow Jackets vs Utes: Hyundai Sun Bowl

Game Two of our Saturday triple-header has the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs. Utah Utes with kickoff slated for 2:00 PM ET from Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.

Georgia Tech (8-4 OA 5-3 ACC) brings their #3 rushing offense into this one as the Yellow Jackets averaged 316.8 yards per game on the ground. Georgia Tech went 1-2 against AP top 25 teams with the win coming in Week 6 as they shocked #5 Clemson 31-17 at home.

Utah (7-5 OA 4-5 Pac-12) is led by their stellar defense that was #18 in the Nation as they allowed a meager 19.7 points per game. The Utes were strangers to AP Top 25 teams as their lone contest was a Week 5 loss at home 35-14 to #22 Arizona State.

Bruins vs. Fighting Illini: Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl

We close out a busy Saturday of NCAA College Football Bowl action with the Illinois Fighting Illini battling the UCLA Bruins at 3:30 PM ET from AT&T Park in San Francisco, California.

Illinois (6-6 OA 2-6 Big Ten) opened the season like a house on fire with six straight wins. The Fighting Illini then dropped six straight to close out the season. Illinois was 1-4 against Top 25 talent as they beat then #22 Arizona State in Week 3 before losing to #19 Penn State, #24 Michigan and #17 Wisconsin during the final four weeks of the regular season.

UCLA (6-7 OA 5-4 Pac-12) faced a typical tough Pac-12 schedule as they went 1-3 against AP Top 25 teams. The Bruins took out #19 Arizona State as they scored a thrilling 29-28 win back in Week 9. UCLA Top 25 loses were to #23 Texas and #6 Stanford, before they closed out the season with a 49-31 loss in Oregon to the #9 Ducks in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
