Vance Worley has made a successful return to the Major Leagues, pitching to a 1.98 ERA in two starts with Pittsburgh since being recalled. He made his debut with Philadelphia, but was in the package sent to the Twins to acquire Ben Revere. He struggled with Minnesota and was designated for assignment. Daisuke Matsuzaka will take the hill tonight for the Mets as they try to grab a win in the series opener with Pittsburgh. Dice-K is 3-1 this season with a respectable 2.68 ERA. Matsuzaka suffered his first loss of the season his last time out. He gave up just one run to the Marlins in 5.1 innings pitched.
