Legal Pot States of Colorado and Washington Prepare for Super “Bowl”
MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey is the site of Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, February 2, 2014. The game features the number-one seed Denver Broncos from the AFC and the number-one seed Seattle Seahawks from the NFC. The last time the number-one seeds meet in the Super Bowl was 2009. We will back the Seahawks on the East Coast to win their first Super Bowl title.
Seattle Seahawks: Headed for the league crown
Appearing in just their second Super Bowl in franchise history, the Seahawks will be looking for their first-ever league title. The Seahawks lost their only other appearance in the big game to the Pittsbugh Steelers by a score of 21-10 in Super Bowl XL and their fans only recently became allowed to legally light up to forget about it. Pete Carroll was still coaching at USC when this game was played. Now, he leads the Seahawks into New Jersey for a date with the Broncos and hopefully a league title.
Denver Broncos: Facing a stiff test for title
Denver’s number-one offense will be facing Seattle’s number-one defense when the Super Bowl gets underway from New Jersey in less than two weeks. With the Legion of Boom waiting in the secondary for the Broncos receivers, will Peyton Manning be able to thread the needle and prevent interceptions? We don’t know, but he will need pinpoint accuracy to secure another title for the Broncos franchise and first since back-to-back victories in 1997 and 1998.
We head over to the online sportsbook found at BetOnline.ag to check out the betting odds for Super Bowl XLVIII between the two states that offer legal marijuana for residents. We understand that it will be cold and damp on Super Bowl Sunday, but we can’t help but think there will be a lot of points scored in this game. This is why we will bet 10 percent of our bankroll on the Seahawks with the OVER 47 total points at -110 as they win their first-ever crown.
