Heat Look to Snap Losing Streak with Wizards in Town Monday Night

The Miami Heat have struggled a bit of late, entering this game with the Washington Wizards having lost three straight games. It really has not hurt them in the East, as the Pacers have lost four straight games. Washington has won two straight and is 8-2 in their last 10, but we still like the Heat to win this contest at home as they snap their losing streak.

Heat in need of a win right now

Miami has lost three straight games, dropping them to 1.5 games behind the Pacers in the Eastern Conference standings. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games played, but really need a win tonight when they host the Wizards in Florida. At home, the Heat have lost just four games this season, which is good for one of the best home records in the league.

Wizards have enough to give Heat a fight

Since they have lost three in a row, the Wizards are strong enough to give Miami a run for their money tonight. A week or so ago, this game would have been a mis-match, but with the Wizards’ strong play, this will be much more exciting. Washington is not poor on the road, but they also are not a very strong road team. During the Wizards 8-2 stretch, they have not faced a team of Miami’s caliber.

We find the betting odds for tonight’s NBA contest between the Miami Heat and the Washington Wizards over at Bovada.lv. Despite their recent struggles, the Heat are favored by seven points tonight at home. We will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the Heat as we lay the line. Miami will not drop a fourth straight game, especially since they are playing in front of the home fans. Place your bets early and enjoy this NBA contest on Monday night.
