Grizzlies Out to Secure Playoff Spot Against the Suns on Monday

With just one playoff spot left in the Western Conference, Monday night’s meeting between the Grizzlies and the Suns in Phoenix will definitely have a playoff feel to it. The Grizzlies can secure the final playoff spot with a win on the road. The Suns will look to prevent this from happening for at least one more day. We like Memphis on Monday as they head to the post-season.

Grizzlies ready for a post-season clincher

Memphis is one win away from clinching a post-seaosn berth. They can take care of things on Monday night when they visit the Suns, whom they have already taken three games from this season. Their three wins over Phoenix gives Memphis the tie-breaker, which means Phoenix will need a lot of help to overtake them for the final playoff spot. It looks as though Memphis will win its fourth straight en route to the playoffs.

Suns trying to stay alive for one more day

Phoenix can stay alive for at least one more game with a win at home over the Grizzlies on Monday night. If the Suns win this game they will need a lot of help to clinch the eighth-seed in the playoffs. They would need to win their final game of the season while also needing the Grizzlies to drop their final game of the season. That is the only scenario that would get the Suns into the playoffs this year.

We head over to the popular online sportsbook at Bovada.lv on Monday to find the spread for Phoenix vs Memphis in Arizona. The Suns have struggled of late while the Grizzlies have won three straight games. This is a recipe for a Memphis win and playoff berth clincher on the road. We will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on Memphis to win this game outright on Monday.
