AFC Starting Offense – 2011 AFC vs NFC Pro Bowl
AFC Starting Offense – 2011 AFC vs NFC Pro Bowl: We are still a week away from the game that really matters, Super Bowl XLV, but NFL football fans do have the NFL Pro Bowl to bolster their betting bankrolls this weekend.
The American Football Conference has sent a star studded cast to this years event that promises to be a very high scoring affair. Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii hosts with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Sunday, January 30, 2011.
Brightest Stars From The AFC Land In Hawaii
Following their 41-34 win in the 2009 NFL Pro Bowl, the AFC will be looking to take a leg up in this series that is tied at 20-20 dating back to the Pro Bowl modern era start in 1970. The AFC has also won six of the last ten games played.
Though we are positive he would rather be playing in Super Bowl XLV the AFC will be coached by Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots. The “Hoodie” wants to win in any and all situations so you know he will have his boys charged up for this one.
One Patriots player who won’t be at this game is QB Tom Brady who was selected but is out because of recent foot surgery. He has been replaced by Chiefs QB Matt Cassel. We find that a little ironic as Cassel replaced Brady for the entire season back in 2008 after he suffered a season ending knee injury on the third play in Week One.
Here then is the list of stars that will be representing the AFC in the 2011 NFL Pro Bowl. Players denoted with an * were elected as starters.
