We should qualify up front that we are not big fans of betting on All-Star games of any kind except for Major League Baseball. The reason for this is simple. Other than the MLB All-Star Game that decides home field advantage in the World Series, these games mean very little and are very difficult to handicap.

You never know how long players are going to play or even who is going to play in some instances. The Pro Bowl is probably the most difficult of any of the All-Star games to handicap because there are different game rules in play, the boys have been laying around on the beach in Hawaii all week and most of the players have not played in a meaningful football game in a month.

All that being said, when we look at both starting rosters, we see the NFC as the more solid team here. We like them better at all the skill positions on offense and the NFC has been the better conference all season long. We won’t be betting on this game but, if we had to, we would take the NFC to win and the game total to go OVER.
