Super Bowl Prop Betting Predictions – Roethlisberger vs Rodgers: Our last few posts have focused on some of the “fluff” proposition wagers that, when bet on, are akin to riding a Moped. They are fun to bet on, just don’t let your friends see you betting on them.

Who Will Record More Passing Yards In Super Bowl XLV

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers averaged 261.5 passing yards per game in the regular season and 263.3 in his thre playoff starts. Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger averaged 266.7 yards per game in the regular season but has slumped to 179.5 in two playoff games.

We don’t see the discrepancy being that large in the Super Bowl for a few reasons. First, Big Ben had to face the Jets in one of his playoff games and second, the Steelers could be playing from behind in this contest and that will force them to air it out as they pay catch-up.

Further to our point, the Steelers have allowed just 155 pass yards per game in their two playoff match-ups. Granted, Joe Flacco and Mark Sanchez don’t really compare to Aaron Rodgers but the 35.5 spread seems a little too high for our liking. One long bomb to Mike Wallace and it’s money in the bank if you are backing Big Ben.

We doubt the Steelers will pass for more yards than the Packers but the spread is too high here so we’ll take Roethlisberger and the +35.5 yards.
