2011 MLB Game 7 World Series: Game Day Preview

For the first time since 2002 Fall Classic, when the Los Angeles Angels defeated the San Francisco Giants, the MLB 2011 World Series needs a Game 7 to decide the Champion of Baseball.

First pitch for this historic Game 7, of the 2011 World Series, is slated for 8:05 PM ET on Thursday, October 27, 2011, from Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri.

If Texas starter Hamilton gets roughed up early, don’t be surprised to see Derek Holland, out of the bullpen and on the bump for the Rangers.

Injuries will play a roll tonight as Cardinals slugger Matt Holliday is out and Cards rookie outfielder Adron Chambers is in. Rangers slugger Nelson Cruz is dealing with a nagging groin injury, while Texas catcher Mike Napolia rolled his ankle last night, both are expected to play.
