Bears vs Seahawks Betting Lines and NFL Week 13 Prediction
We have a conundrum on our hands as we handicap the Sunday Seattle Seahawks vs Chicago Bears game. Earlier in the week we wagered on a Bears plus Falcons two team parlay – we’ve banked the Atlanta win.
Kickoff for this NFC action is slated for 1:00 PM ET, on December 2, 2012, from Soldier Field in Chicago, IL. There’s a lot on the line in this one and we’re not sure that we’re on the right side with the Bears now.
Seattle Seahawks: Chasing NFC Wild Card playoff position
After flying out of the gate with a 5-2 record to start the NFL 2012 season, the Seahawks have had their wings clip as they are on a 2-3 recent run. All three loses have come on the road – where Seattle has posted a 1-5 mark this year. Adding to the Seahawks woes is the fact that they will crisscross the country for a second straight week – not a good spot for the Emerald City Crew.
The good news for Seattle backers is that previously suspended corners Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman will play on Sunday as they appeal their suspensions for PED use. The better news is the fact that the Seahawks outstanding defense is facing a Chicago offensive line that’s been decimated by injuries. Guards Lance Louis and Chris Spencer were both injured in Week 12.
Chicago Bears: Holding on to a razor thin lead in the NFC North Division
By virtue of their 28-10 Week 12 win over the Vikings, coupled with the Packers 38-10 meltdown against the Giants, the Chicago Bears now own a one game lead over Green Bay in the NFC North playoff race. That battle is destined to go down to the wire – especially if Chicago can knock off the Packers at home during Week 15 NFL action. The Bears need to get healthy to pull off that win.
As mentioned, the Bears have huge issues on their offensive line and QB Jay Cutler is one hit away from another concussion – you have to know that the Seahawks defense will be gunning for him. Additionally, Bears Pro Bowl RB Matt Forte is dealing with a minor ankle injury and will be less than 100% for this contest. Backup RB Michael Bush won’t phase the Seahawks defense.
Sportsbook Review Seahawks vs Bears Betting Lines and Game Day Handicapping Call
We mentioned that we’re not sure if we are on the right side of this contest with our active parlay. We would love the Yogi’s if the suspended Seattle corners did not play in this contest but bettors can expect a much closer game with them active. Apart from the Seahawks making the dreaded West to East trip to play in a morning game, many signs point to Seattle covering here.
A bet on the Seahawks, with the purchase of an extra point at the BetOnline website, guarantees that either the previous parlay bet or this wager will cash and turn a decent profit. We will cash both wagers if the Bears win by exactly four points. Give us the Seahawks with the -4.5 (-130) point spread and a 10% bankroll wager at the betonline.ag sportsbook!
