Toronto vs. Winnipeg: Canadian Football League Week 4 Lines
Following four quiet days on the North American sports betting scene, Major League Baseball and the Canadian Football League both swing back into action today. Our focus in on pigskin north of the border tonight!
After two weeks on the road, the Blue Bombers return home to Winnipeg to host the Toronto Argonauts. This CFL East battle hits the Investors Group Field grid-iron at 8:00 PM ET on Friday, July 19, 2013.
Toronto Argonauts: Champs look to end two game slide
It’s never all peaches and gravy when you’re trying to defend a League Championship. The Toronto Argonauts are quickly figuring that out as they’ve opened their 2013 regular season schedule with a 1-2 record. The Argos slipped past Hamilton 38-34 to open the season but have dropped back to back games against the BC Lions (24-16) on the road and to Saskatchewan (39-28) at home last Thursday. The Grey Cup Champs are over-due to put a whoppin’ on someone – it happens here!
Winnipeg Blue Bombers: Soar back into their brand new CFL stadium
Winnipeg opened their brand new stadium during CFL Week 1 action by dropping a tight 38-33 decision to Montreal. They went on the road for the second half of the home-and-home series and defeated the Alouettes 19-11 in Quebec. Not able to build off that momentum, the Blue Bombers lost 25-20 to the Tiger-Cats in Ontario last Saturday. Like the other three teams in the CFL East Divison, the Bombers are 1-2 as they get set for Game 2 in their brand new stadium tonight.
