Jacksonville Jaguars vs Dallas Cowboys NFL Week 8 Match-Up

When Dallas WR Miles Austin dropped an easy TD pass, less than six minutes into the game, we knew things were going to go from bad to worse for the self-destructive Cowboys. Did they ever!

A TD catch by Austin in that situation would have put the Cowboys up 14-0 with the game barely five minutes old. Instead, Dallas settled for a field goal and the Giants figured they had dodged a huge bullet.

It was more of the same for the Cowboys as they continue to beat themselves with miscues and turnovers.

The Jaguars are no better as their two consecutive loses have been by a combined 72-23 score. Jacksonville got run over by the Chiefs last weekend as they surrendered 236 rushing yards and 40 points. That’s good news for the Cowboys rushing attack (or lack there of) that ranks 30th in the NFL.

We said last week that if the Cowboys lost we would be off of them for the rest of the season. Even with Jon Kitna under center the Cowboys are better than the Jaguars so we are going to respectively retract that statement.

One look at the defensive numbers the Jaguars are putting up will show you why we can’t back these clawless kittens. We are going to plug our nose and back the ‘Boys…one more time, for the good times.
